SMOKE SHOP FAQs

Does Yoga Smokes locally deliver?

Yes! Currently, we deliver to Port Saint Lucie, Tradition, Saint Lucie West, Fort Pierce, Jensen Beach and Stuart Florida.

What is a full panel COA?

It’s a third-party lab report that not only reveals the cannabinoid content of the product, but it also has results for any contaminants such as solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals.

This is probably the most important factor when purchasing hemp-derived THC products. Yoga Smokes posts full-panel COAs for every product we sell.

Are these products legal?

Yes! Our hemp products are federally protected under the 2018 Farm Bill and contain <0.3% Delta 9 THC on a dry weight scale.

“Dry weight” is the measurement of an object’s mass when completely dried. In other words, when laboratories remove all the “water” from a hemp plant, they calculate the Delta-9 percentage based on the remaining dry weight. If the number remains below 0.3%, the plant is compliant. Double check with your state specific laws.

Will Hemp products cause a positive drug test result?

We advise that the use of our products may result in a positive drug test result.

Hemp-derived products are so chemically and structurally similar to Cannabis products, when the test is done, it will show you consumed cannabis without classifying if it was hemp-derived or cannabis-derived. Yoga Smokes does not manufacture or sell any cannabis derived products.

How old do you have to be to order Yoga Smokes adult products?

Per our privacy policy, by placing an order through Yoga Smokes’s website you agree to be, and represent to Yoga Smokes that you are, at least 21 years of age or older.

Does Yoga Smokes offer discreet packaging?

Yes! Our packages are fairly discrete and come in regular cardboard boxes. The shipping labels you will see on our packages have the shipper as “Yoga Smokes” along with our business address

Should I choose Sativa, Hybrid, or Indica strains?

Choosing the best strain for you depends on a few key factors.

The first is what you want to use it for. If you’re looking for something to help you relax and sleep, an indica-dominant strain would be a better choice. If you want something to help, you stay focused and energized, a sativa-dominant strain would be better.

The second factor is your tolerance level. If you’re a new hemp user or if you have low tolerance, sativa strains will probably be too intense for you. Indica strains are more mellow, so they might be a better choice.

Sativa

Sativas are also known for their uplifting and energizing effects, making them popular for daytime use. Sativa strains are known for their energizing and uplifting effects and are often used to treat depression and fatigue. Sativas are known to provide a cerebral effect that can be uplifting and motivating, making them perfect for daytime use. Additionally, Sativas tend to have higher levels of THC, which can produce more powerful effects.

Hybrid

Hybrids are a combination of both Indica and Sativa strains and can provide a balance of both effects. The main benefit of hybrid strains is that they offer a more balanced “high” than pure Indica or Sativa strains. This is because Hybrid strains contain the best of both worlds—the body-relaxing effects of Indica strains and the head-clearing effects of Sativa strains. Hybrid strains are also more versatile than pure Indica or Sativa strains, making them a good choice for people who want to be able to smoke throughout the day without feeling too sedated or too energetic.

Indica

Indicas are known for their relaxing and soothing effects, making them a popular choice for evening or nighttime use. Indica strains are known for their sedative effects and are often used by consumers to treat pain, anxiety, and insomnia. Indica strains are perfect for relaxation and sleep. If you’re looking to relax and unwind after a long day, an Indica strain is your best bet.

Edibles

How do I take edibles?

All of our edible products come with serving size instructions. Follow the serving size instructions and remember to go slow. Edibles kick in slowly but will last long so don’t take too many to start!

In most cases, edibles will begin kicking in about 30 minutes. However, depending on the individual, it may take up to several hours for the edible to break down and release the cannabinoids.

How should I store my edibles?

Proper storage of hemp products is important. It can limit exposure to environmental factors that cause these products to degrade more quickly. It’s pretty simple, too.

Only open products when you’re ready to use them.

If you tend to make an occasional large purchase, it is recommended to resist the temptation to sample everything when it arrives. Work your way through a package of gummies, chocolate, etc. before moving on to the next product or flavor.

To make your hemp edibles last as long as possible, you should:

Limit exposure to humidity.

Keep your hemp products in a dry place. A drawer or cabinet can work especially well because it also helps to address our next point.

Keep them out of the light.

A dark space for storage prevents light from degrading the products over time. Opt for a storage space that’s sealed off and dark.

Avoid high temperatures.

High temperatures can also cause the edibles to lose potency. Don’t store your edibles near a heat vent in your home, on a windowsill, or in your car’s glove box on a hot day. Optimal storage is in a refrigerator, but storage in a room temperature area is fine otherwise.

Flower

How do I use flower?

There are many ways you can use flower including; smoking it, cooking with it, and much more!

How should I store my flower?

Hemp flower works best when it’s fresh, so you’ll want to store your nugs properly to extend their shelf life and experience the potency and flavors at their best stage.

It is not recommended to keep your flower in the fridge or freezer. By keeping in the freezer or fridge you might be exposing your buds to different temperatures and terpenes leave the buds every time you open the jar or container. Unless you live in a place that is really hot during the summer or you have no other place to store it, it’s recommended to skip the fridge or freezer entirely.

Urb’s 7G Caviar Flower, for example, comes in air-tight glass jars accompanied by a 2-way hydration pack which helps assist with humidity control and helps prevent the buds from losing their potency or flavors. Dark, cool places are the best to prevent too much exposure from light, moisture, or changes in temperature. Avoid sunlight, heat and excessive exposure to air.

Cartridge

How do I use a cartridge?

You can use a cartridge by attaching the cartridge to a 510 Thread Battery and inhaling the vapor according to your battery's instructions.

What do I do if my cartridge clogs?

Depending on your device, it may have a pre-warming feature. After using this feature, you may attempt to try the cartridge again to see if you have unclogged it.

If you do not have a prewarming feature, you can attempt to warm the cartridge in your hand by hoding it. You may also attempt to put the battery in its highest temperature and inhaling to unclog the cartridge. Please contact out customer service team if you have a question at CustomerService@yogasmokes.com.

How do I store my cartridge?

Store the cartridge vertically in an upright position.

This will keep the liquid in the correct location to be fed to the heating element.

Keep the terminal (the part that contacts the battery) and threads clean.

During storage or normal use, a small amount of sticky light brown residue can accumulate at the terminal or threads. It can be removed by lightly cleaning the area with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. Avoid using too much alcohol, the goal is to pick up the residue with the swab’s tip. Multiple passes may be needed – just repeat until no more residue comes off on the swab. Let the alcohol dry completely before using the cartridge.

If residue has built up, or the cartridge hasn’t been used in a while, the ball or valve that regulates the liquid can get stuck.

If cleaning won’t allow it to move, you may want to apply light pressure to the valve with a small blunt tipped object like a toothpick. After loosening it, another cleaning may be warranted.

Keep the cartridges out of the light.

A dark space for storage prevents light from degrading the products over time and causing oxidation of the distillate to occur. Opt for a storage space that’s sealed off and dark.

Avoid high temperatures

High temperatures can also cause distillate to lose potency. Don’t store your cartridges near a heat vent in your home, on a windowsill, in your car’s glove box on a hot day, etc..

What kind of battery should I use?

The 2.2ml Cartridges are compatible with most “510 Thread”, we recommend purchasing a “stick” battery as some batteries will not fit the width of the 2.2ml cartridges. The width of the 2.2ml cartridges are about 13.69mm. You can find some batteries here.

The 1.0ml cartridges are compatible with most "510 Thread" batteries whether it is a stick or drop down.

Batteries are not included with the purchase of cartridges and will need to be purchased separately.

What is the best voltage to use?

The general range is 3.3-3.8 volts. Some consumers prefer a little lower around 2.7-2.8 volts to use the distillate more slowly and to prevent the distillate from burning. Batteries vary and a best practice would be to start lower and slowly raise the voltage to find the optimal setting.

Why does my cartridge taste burnt?

It’s important to make sure your vape cartridge is fully primed before use in order to prevent burning your coil and creating a bad taste while vaping. The first thing you should do is identify that the 4 intake holes at the base of the cartridge are fully covered by oil. If they aren’t then you will need to wait until they are covered before you attempt to use the cartridge.

If you aren’t getting vapor or if the intake holes aren’t covered you will need to either wait until the holes are covered by storing the cartridge upright and waiting for the oil to fall and saturate the coil. Note this can take over 24 hours due to the thickness of the oil. A way to accelerate the process is by heating the bottom half of the cartridge with a hairdryer or heat gun for 30 seconds or until oil has fully covered the intake holes.
